1976 Gulfstar 43 Mark II- Walkthrough
The Gulfstar 43 Mark II Trawler has always been a favorite among the Bahamas cruising crowd and is a seasoned Great Loop boat, thanks to its easy maneuverability. Its vast interior space, galley, and dining area make it an ideal liveaboard vessel. The twin Perkins 6-354 diesel engines are fuel-efficient at trawler speeds, but powerful enough to outrun a storm if necessary.

Enter the boat from either side of the dock via a custom-made aluminum stairway. Once onboard you will enjoy wide fiberglass side decks to easily access all areas of the boat.

The flybridge provides the captain with an unobstructed panoramic view, while full instrumentation ensures the safe piloting of this 1976 Gulfstar 43 Mark II Trawler. The bridge area offers dual bench seats, and the aft deck is covered with a sunshade. The aft sundeck is perfect for barbecues and enjoying days at sea, while the well-organized foredeck is suitable for anchoring and docking.

Enter the salon through the port or starboard side doors to enjoy incredible views and run the boat from the lower helm if the weather turns unpleasant on the flybridge. The galley/dinette area below is spacious with a large dinette and a good-sized galley down arrangement complete with all necessary appliances, including a dual stainless-steel refrigerator/freezer, electric stove, oven, and microwave.

The aft cabin offers a large double berth stateroom with an ensuite head and a separate stall shower, while the master stateroom has 2 large beds and an ensuite head with a shower. The forward guest cabin with a v-berth is ideal for kids or visitors.

The forward head is spacious and offers a sink and toilet. That makes a really nice day head for guest on board or getting cleaned up to work in the galley.

The aft cabin stateroom has 2 large beds. In the aft cabin, 1 birth is a double bed and the other is an oversize twin. The forward stateroom offers a v-berth with 2 twin beds. The Dinette in the galley area becomes a large bed and finally, there is a pull-out sofa in the salon. Giving this boat sleeping accommodations for up to 9 guests.

The salon of this boat provides breathtaking views and a spacious area for socializing and relaxing. Guests can enjoy a comfortable chair with an ottoman, a large sofa that converts into a pull-out bed, and a director's chair at the helm. Natural light pours in through the numerous windows and doors on either side of the salon, offering quick access for handling lines from the lower helm. For entertainment, the salon features a flat-screen TV, a stereo system, and a sound bar.

The owner has also added a convenient crane in the engine room for moving the large batteries in and out for servicing, making maintenance tasks a breeze.
